    I have a  form that uploads a number of file types, including PDF and DOCX.

    I built a form to show the entries with a link to the uploaded file.

    The icon shows ad PDF form for the PDF and MS icon for the word document.

    However, when I click the link the file loads as raw code.  PDF is gobbledygook and the docx is a mixture of text and code.

    How do I get the files to load properly in the lightbox?

    That sounds like a server configuration issue: you need to set PDFs as that type of file. I’d recommend you call your hosting company.

    The best you can do for DocX is have it download instead of load in the browser; there’s no way to display it in the browser.
