    I follow the directions to generate the ApplicationID and Application Password, but when I enter them in the settings screen in the WP Dashboard, I always get a “The password you provided was not recognized” error message.

    I’ve tried resetting the password several times with the same result. I ended up also creating a sandbox account with iContact, but that didn’t work either. I chatted with iContact’s support, but they just gave me a generic email address to contact for API issues.

    I am running Gravity Forms 1.6.1 on WordPress 3.3beta3. Thanks for your help!

    Solution found: the username is case-sensitive when using the API.
