Using the lottery shortcode

[lottery state="CO" games="1,2,3" style="numbers" title="Colorado Lottery" link=true]

  • state – The two letter state abbreviation
  • games – If you don’t enter this, all games in the state will be displayed. If you configure the widget, you’ll see “ID = #” next to each game. These numbers should be used. You can enter one game (games="1") or multiple, separated by a comma (as shown above).
  • style – Three options exist: balls (yellow, red and green lottery balls with text numbers), numbers (circles with a gray border and images of numbers), or plain (simple text numbers; able to be styled using your own CSS). Default: balls
  • link – Show a link to plugin page. To turn off, add link="false" or link="0" to the lottery shortcode. Default: true

      Do you know where a good feed is? If you do, then there’s a much higher possibility :-) Where do you get your data from?

    I can’t get any games to display and therefore can’t select any games. Do I need to wait 6 hours after initial install to get games available?

    Is there a way to set it up by page? I want to have state by state pages and display lotto results for that state on each page.  Thanks!

    we run a small football club and run a weekly lotto – can this plugin be modifed so that we can input the numbers drawn they could be shown on the frontpage

      Sorry, that won’t work for this without some big changes; it’d be easier just to use the HTML widget and update the numbers!

    As of this morning i noticed none of the games are showing up… this occured on multiple domains with different hosts… it just stopped showing up… also in the widget config none of the games show up so they can be selected…

    Is there a way to not have the state name appear? I really just want to use the Powerball and Mega Millions numbers, so I don’t want the state name to appear since they apply nationally.

    Is this plugin for giveaways? I have promised the readers on my blog http://blivenblogger.dk to do a giveaway, and I’m not sure how to pick the winner, so that the winners will know that this was actually made random.
